Artist, pharmacist and renaissance man, his true passion was oil painting. John followed in the family tradition and became a pharmacist; he practiced in Hungary, Austria and the United States. He was a very creative individual who enjoyed playing with ideas and creating objects. He painted, sculpted, carved wood; wrote limericks, short stories, and a couple of books. A book entitled “Mayga” was based on his family’s experiences coming from Hungary to the United States. His true passion was oil painting; he created hundreds of oil paintings ranging from landscapes to abstracts. The breadth of his work is remarkable.
